Pastor Mary  Williams Powell is a true woman of faith and dedicated to Christ-is the Overseer and Founder of Faith Temple Church in Seaboard, North Carolina. Pastor Powell has been the pastor of Faith Temple Church for more than 12 years, serving the Lord with joy and thanksgiving in her heart.

Her journey with the Lord began during her youth.  At the age of 18, she received the Lord Jesus Christ in her life, afterwards started preaching at the age of 19.  She has traveled and spread the Lord’s Word in North Carolina, Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Florida, Connecticut, and surrounding areas.
She received her religious training for over 20 years under the leadership of Bishop Martha S. Parker. She also holds membership status at the Way of the Cross Church in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. She started her educational studies with her tenure at Halifax Community College in Weldon, NC where she received her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration.

Pastor Powell has received her Diploma in Bible Studies, Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree of the full Gospel, and Bachelor’s Degree in Marriage Therapy. Pastor Mary Powell has also obtained her Master’s Degree and Doctrine in Divinity. The Lord led her to the ministry in Seaboard, North Carolina 12 years ago, where she ministers at Faith Temple Church, where many souls have come to the Lord.

Pastor Mary W. Powell is an accomplished author having published her most successful book “God’s Divine Connection” (which is available in paperback format on Amazon)

She is an experienced revivalist, marriage counselor, intercessory prayer leader, bible school teacher, and anointed speaker.  She holds Holy Spirit tent meetings yearly, where many people are saved, healed, and received the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
